Steve Groulx Chief Executive Officer |
Steve Groulx is the Chief Executive Officer of WorkLife Financial Inc., and has been since its inception.
Mr. Groulx has been in the financial and securities industry for 18 years. He earned a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree with majors in Finance and Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University
in 1990. He also participated in NCAA Division I athletics as a four-year varsity football letter winner.
Mr. Groulx was the team leader of the Small Business Association Development Group.
In 1998, he completed Certified Financial Planner courses at Oakland University.
Mr. Groulx’s career started at American Express Financial Advisors (formerly IDS),
where he finished his first year in the top 1% of new advisors and ranked second
out of all first-year advisors in the Midwest Region. In his second year at
American Express, he became a District Manager and within two years had nineteen
advisors reporting to him in one of the top districts in the nation. During Mr.
Groulx’s tenure with American Express, he consistently ranked among the top
advisors at the company in personal production while also fulfilling his
managerial duties.
In late 1996, Mr. Groulx left American Express to create a true one-stop shop
for financial services. Over the course of 13 years, WorkLife Financial has
developed into a multi-faceted financial enterprise. His relationships with
professionals in the areas of employee payroll and benefits, IT services,
insurance and other areas served as the foundation upon which the Company was built.
Mr. Groulx holds the following licenses: Series 24, Series 7, Series 63,
variable contracts, life insurance and health insurance. For 12 years, Mr.
Groulx has been the registered principal of WorkLife Financial’s Wealth
Management Services division. In his spare time, Mr. Groulx coaches youth football.
