Baart Duffield
Senior Vice President – Southeast Region |
Mr. Duffield is the Senior Vice President of the Southeast Region; in this role, he is responsible for working within each of the divisions of WorkLife Financial to help facilitate their overall growth. He also works with each division head to ensure full support of sales and operations staff. Additionally, Mr. Duffield works closely with the Chief Executive Officer on any projects aimed at promoting WorkLife Financial in the Southeast Region of the United States.
Mr. Duffield has over 15 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Prior to joining WorkLife Financial, he was Regional Sales Manager for CIGNA Group Insurance (CGI) where he was responsible for the field results in the sales and account management areas for the Detroit and Cleveland offices. Additionally, he recruited, hired and trained a team of professionals that helped to increase the Region’s revenue from $560,000 in 2003 to $15 million in 2007. Mr. Duffield also spent 8 years with CNA Group Benefits in a variety of roles including Midwest Regional Vice President; under his leadership, the growth and overall results for the Region, including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Western Pennsylvania, exceeded goals.
Mr. Duffield is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He holds licenses for both Health and Life insurance.
In his spare time, Mr. Duffield enjoys coaching youth football and basketball, and is an avid snowboarder.
